Yes, you may have a gargantuan amount of traffic coming to your site but what if most of it are combinations of search engine bots or spiders and Internet surfers who just happen to land on your site, realize it’s not what they’re looking for, then click away in a matter of seconds? How can you convert that? Do you think it’s worth it? It is still best to have qualified traffic since these people upon discovering your online business can come back whenever they feel to or pass on the news or refer you to other people they know of. These are what you call real visitors.
To carry out effectively the article marketing process, you must be able to produce a fair amount of genuine, well-written articles and write-ups. When people are satisfied and interested with your good writing and informative pieces, you will gain extra points in terms of reputation and customer trust. In no time, they will be purchasing something in your site.
Article Marketing Strategy
You can find different techniques for article marketing on the web or you can devise your own. It can be as simple as this – generate the right kind of articles for your niche and try your best to throw them to top article directories and authority sites.
In coming up with the appropriate articles, things that should be taken into consideration are knowing the best styles of article writing for your niche and determining your niche’s real audience. What is the most common and sought-after writing styles or article forms in your niche? Is it creative writing? Or how-to articles? How about journalistic articles or write-ups in news format? Who are your target business audience? Who are those people who will look after your articles, read them regularly and even consider reprinting them in their sites or referring them to others? This will help you weave articles that will surely hit the right spot and make your article marketing close to success.
After generating the proper articles, you need to get them out as far as possible. This is where article directories and authority sites come in. The strategy here is not to send your writings to hundreds of article directories but only to top directory sites with high page ranks and high traffic. Then you could rewrite them and submit them to a few average ones and if possible, rewrite them into news or press releases so they could land on online news stories or some reporter’s or journalist’s blog with high traffic.
These strategies may sound simple but actually require some hard work but will definitely take your article marketing and work from home to a higher level once done well.
The Right Format
The proper format in writing articles is just simple. First, the headline must be unique, catchy and promising. By promising, we mean that you give the readers an impression that you have something in store for them or they’ll get some benefits in reading your articles. Next is very much important – the body of your article. What you have promised in your title or headline must be found in the body of your article. Anything that should not be included, must not be included. The body must explain or elaborate what you have said in your title. Otherwise, readers will think they’re being fooled and that will put your reputation in jeopardy. Last, but not the least, is your conclusion which should include a nice call for action and a reference link to your site. A simple good call for action can be something that tells the reader to click for the link for more information and more opportunity for them.
