Beginner’s Quick Guide To Article Marketing

By admin On January 27, 2009 Under Article Writing & Article Marketing, Work From Home

Everyone knows, at least those who are into work from home and stuff, that article marketing is one of the essential things that drive traffic to your site. Though it might be considered as a very effective, very easy and very cheap means to lure in readers and prospects, newbies must not feel that confident when it comes to dealing with article marketing and article writing for whipping up an article requires a lot more considerations and focus than a beginner can expect.

Few of those concerns include the over-all quality of the article, the significance of the author or resource box, the choice of article directories, the benefits brought about by practicing and learning how to write better and the important role of e-books.

The quality of the article is considered to be the most crucial factor that’s being considered and looked into by most, if not all, writers. When you say quality, it talks about the article’s effectiveness in totality – the content, the grammar, the spelling, the mood, the creativity, the word count, the organization, etc. Because the main purposes of articles in article marketing is to attract readers, market the site (but not too obvious) and somehow convince people to follow the link to the site, the quality should always be a priority. In today’s world, readers are likely to ignore even those well-written articles due to shorter attention span. What more if the article is poor in quality? Imagine its grave effects on your work from home.

Then we have the ever important author or resource box where the writer is allowed to place a somewhat sales pitch or a call to action to persuade the readers to click alongside the actual link to the website. If there’s a part of any article that should not be forgotten, it’s the resource box. The whole thing will be useless without it.

From the author box, we jump over to article directories. Choosing the directory sites in which to send your articles to should be easy. Pick the popular ones, those who rank high on search engines like Ezine, GoArticles, WebProNews, ArticleDashboard, Buzzle and others. No point in sending to the not-so-famous article directories since your articles won’t enjoy much traffic there.

You may not get the hang of article marketing yet let alone writing, especially if you’re just starting this work from home and writing happens to be something you’re not great at, still, keep on doing it, keep on practicing, keep on training yourself and soon it will all come naturally. After all, it’s a learning and a growing process.

If after that constant practice you feel that you’re already a pro in article writing, you may add writing e-books as one of your work from home. The purpose is similar to sending write-ups to article directories. You write e-books on certain topics in your niche. Include links to your site and distribute it all over the Net. That’s another cool way to catch traffic.

While there are some important things to keep in mind concerning article marketing, you don’t have to worry that much if ever you decide to do this kind of work from home. Everything can be learned and the realms of article marketing is not that difficult to understand either.

You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people agree with your blog. :)
