Integrating Other Marketing Techniques With Video Marketing

By admin On September 11, 2009 Under Marketing Efforts and Techniques, Work From Home

Just when you thought you were done with your video marketing tasks after creating great, informative and interesting videos and publishing them on various video sharing websites, you will find that there’s actually one more thing to do to make your whole video marketing experience even more productive for your work from home. And that is integrating some known marketing efforts and techniques with your video promotion.

This will help your awesome videos generate a bit more traffic. Your videos alone may already have drawn in viewers especially if it’s that good and interesting. However, you can do more if you try bookmarking your videos through those famous social bookmarking sites like Digg, Plurk and StumbleUpon. That will hep increase the chances of your videos being discovered considering the huge and still expanding social bookmarking community.

When you’re finished bookmarking your videos, jump into another social media marketing activity – social networking. Log in to your social network accounts and there, blog about your videos. You may also post it as a shout-out or place the link on your wall, status, bulletin, etc. Utilize social networks like Multiply, MySpace and Facebook because they have thousands or millions of members and those users can be the potential clients your work from home needs.

Let’s not forget about article marketing. You can definitely whip up five or ten articles discussing your videos or anything related in your niche. In the author or resource box, include a link to your videos. You may also do blogging if you want to. Just create an informative blog post wherein you may include those videos of yours and talk about them and other things. Microblogging sites like Twitter can be useful too as long as you properly place your videos’ links in there. Furthermore, try to make polite and productive comments on some blogs that are related to your work from home or niche. Most of those blogs will require readers to leave their names, e-mail and website addresses before saving the comments they made. Instead of your website URL, you can leave the URL of your videos.

This video marketing strategy is applicable on online forums as well. Remember that signature part in your profile or account? You can include the link to your videos there. Most forums allow two or three different links in your signature so you can post one linking to your site and another for your videos. If you can integrate SEO with your video marketing, that would be better. But if your videos are already having many views and hits, there’s a great chance that they will be ranking higher in those search engines in no time.

Using known and effective marketing strategies to help promote your videos will, in turn, benefit your website and, of course, your work from home. Your video marketing efforts don’t have to end with video sharing sites like Youtube, Hulu and Megavideo. Make use of the various Internet tools, features and resources to have a more productive video marketing experience.
