Scam or Free Work From Home?
It’s quite understandable why people are on the search for free work from home opportunities. With the current state of the economy, most folks are trying to find easy ways to make money while spending less or nothing at all on start-up fees like a working capital or such. However, opportunities offering free work from home aren’t exactly what they are all the time. In everything, not only in Internet marketing, you get exactly what you pay for. And if you’re looking for online jobs that are free and cheap, chances are you may get what you really wish for.
Don’t get too excited when you have found yourself a potential free work from home because it could easily turn out to be what we all know and dread for as SCAMS. Yes, not all that glitters is gold. In a world where there’s no such thing as free lunch, it’s alright to greet something with a little bit of skepticism especially if it’s too good to be true. So what are the things to do in order to make sure you have a genuine opportunity waiting for you, not a scam? The answer? A good dose of research.
You may start with the company itself. Research the name of the company or organization online. If they are legitimate enough, you will find a lot of pages on the web talking about them, their services, processes, information, and others. You may also find some customer feedback or blog posts regarding what a particular person feels about his experience on dealing with that company. You should be very keen with the details. Scams usually have fake information or no information at all. The testimonials and feedback of people can be of great help too. But you have to be very careful because some people tend to immediately badmouth a legitimate company over a single unlucky experience that they have. Others don’t even have far more good and acceptable reasons. It’s just because they are bitter. You need to learn how to see through this to know which comments are reasonable enough.
Next that you have to “investigate” would be the people behind that company. If they have given you names of persons and contact details from their official site or somewhere else, you may want to give those persons a call, send them an email or Google them up to see if they are not just fake identities on the web. Real people are not afraid to post information about themselves specially if they are on the business. If these individuals have certain pages and articles about themselves or if they have active accounts or profiles on some social networks or online groups, they may as well be legitimate for scammers don’t usually use their real identities in making transactions.
Lastly, you can also tell whether an opportunity is a scam or a free work from home from the deals these sites or people are offering. Let’s say they require you to pay for signing up and didn’t really clarify what
you’re going to get exactly other than the privilege of being a member. Legitimate work from home will give you a rundown of what you’re getting in exchange of the fee. Be it sample products, informative articles, manuals, etc. Some even give you samples to check out before joining. What matters here is how useful those materials are for you. You have to ask yourself. Are all those worth the pay? Most scams online will just coerce you to pay for this and that right away, not even bothering to share with you any details and why you need to spend that money. You have to take note of this.
Scam or free work from home? Most of the time, there’s no difference. Just always remember that success, financial or whatsoever, is earned. And it is gained through hard work, not an overnight miracle like most scammers will tell you.
